How clear are the voices I hear in a reading? Sometimes the auditory evidence from those who have passed comes through like a phone call, and other times it’s as if the spirit is talking under water. Sometimes it’s so fleeting that I wonder, “Did I really hear that?” I [...]
“I’m not myself today,” you say. And who, we ask, is the real you? “It’s not this crabby, listless person,” you reply, and you are partially correct. That is indeed one of your many selves. You have a limitless, infinite number of selves if you consider ego a self. The [...]
“When one door closes, another opens.” Have you not heard this before? Many of your sayings become sayings because so many have experienced the truth inherent in them. You balk when a door closes. At times it closes suddenly and so unexpectedly that you are startled. It takes a moment [...]
All things in moderation. You have heard this before. “Oh, how boring,” you think, and we ask you to reconsider. You enjoy the highs, whether they be physical, emotional, mental, or spiritual, but what of the lows? Remember the pendulum. As high as it swings in one direction, it will [...]
I recently had the opportunity to become a “human on a stick.” At least, that’s what the operators of the “Magical History Tour of Minneapolis” called those of us on our rented Segway machines as we rolled along single file like a line of ducklings. Ever since Segways were introduced [...]
Conformity … coming into alignment. Did you know that your expression “Towing the line” in not about towing at all, but “toe-ing,” such as what happens when a group of recruits is told to stand at attention with their toes along a line painted on the ground. They are toe-ing [...]
Vive la difference! When a friend points out that you do something a certain way, do not take that as criticism. Understand that it may or may not be their way, but you can choose to see their remark merely as an observation. Your way is your way. All are [...]
Why do you bristle when another tells you what to do? That would mean letting go of what you think is the correct thought or action. Perhaps it is correct or appropriate, but perhaps there are other ways of thinking or behaving. Trying out those other ways would require change. [...]
Look at the waters that cover your earth. They have been there for millions of years. The waves come and go, do they not, yet the water is still there. You are like the water. The form of you comes and goes, yet you remain. “Do my loved ones hang [...]
Have you experienced the joy that comes from a pure connection with Spirit? It is quite different from the happiness of ego-based thoughts. Have you experienced the peace that comes from a true connection with your Essence? It is quite different from a human sense of being calm. Have you [...]
Oh, the beauty of a gray dawn. It holds such promise. Each day begins anew, with or without the sparkling dew. What you do with it is up to you. Hold the promise in your hand and bless it. This is where you start. Knowing that with the sun or [...]
Why do astronauts venture into outer space? To discern things and worlds unknown. To go where no man has walked before. They do this at times at great peril. Do you know that you can venture into deep space yourself at no risk and discern worlds upon worlds of great [...]
For those of you who have seen my "Heart Gifts" presentation, you know that Mike "Wolf" Pasakarnis is one powerful soul. It seems that he's still hard at work on the other side letting us know he's still around. Wolf's step-mother, Beth sent me an email yesterday with the photo [...]
Underneath the mattress lies a pea. The one who feels it gets a prize. How sensitive are you? The prize goes to the one who can discern even the most subtle of vibrations. And what is that prize? Awareness of the Kingdom of which you have always been a part. [...]
There will be times when you find yourself in a tight spot. You have been there before. Yes, a feeling of doom may descend, but that is simply a warning sign, just as is pain. These signs and pains do not represent permanency. They merely alert you that adjustments to [...]
Our arrival in Chicago Land today was not without a bit of tension. One minute we were skirting the city on the highway, and the next moment we found ourselves on Lake Shore Drive. This would not normally be so bad, except that we were in a 42-foot coach towing [...]
It matters not if the mass of humans think not as you do. It matters not if belief systems differ. There is one way in which all are the same: in the emotional field. All grieve the same. All know laughter and love at some point in their lives. And [...]
“Who gets the credit?” Do you see what a human concept this is? Only a mind that sees itself as lacking would concern itself with recognition and attention. That is the ego speaking, poor thing. Ego sees not that it is a player in the role of human-being. Its role [...]
“But we are not the kind of people who normally seek out mediums.” And who would those kind of people be, we ask? Those who have suffered great loss, perhaps, and wish desperately to know that their loved ones are not gone forever. So, would those kinds of people believe [...]
What if you were blind? How would you feel about another person when you met them? What is the first thing you would perceive? You would form your impressions most likely on the voice or the strength of a handshake. At a far more subtle level you would feel their [...]
Beginnings. They represent excitement and perhaps a bit of doubt, for you know not exactly how things will turn out. Do you remember the first day of school when all of your notebooks were new, not a word written on them? This moment is like that on this new day [...]
Whispers on the wind. Voices so subtle you are not sure you heard them. And then you follow the promptings and magic occurs. This is how you learn to trust the voice. You always have a choice. When you choose to ignore the voice, life goes on, but perhaps you [...]
What if there were no love in this world? Can you picture your planet Mars? It is still a living planet, beautiful in its own way, but blighted by a lack of vibrant presence. You have your cities like that. You call this “urban blight.” They are places where those [...]
What causes an earthquake but a shifting of energy. Your earth is a living being with a heart all its own. Change results, but not always without disruption. Does this not sound familiar? Change is not always peaceful at the human level of awareness. Step into the rocket ship of [...]
Crying can become a habit. The body becomes addicted to the chemicals created when you are grieving. Yes, crying is cathartic and cleansing, but after you have released, it is time to renew. Maintain awareness of your feelings. Do you wish to return to happier days? It is this focus [...]
