Things fall into place … like pennies from Heaven … falling … and you raise your eyes to the heavens in gratitude. Why this difference between higher up and where you are? Why do blessings appear to come from on high? It is because the soul knows there is more, [...]

This train keeps on moving. Yes, it stops at various stations along the journey, but then it continues down the never-ending tracks. Some wish to get off. They are those who do not understand the nature of the ride. They want to be in the driver’s seat instead of experiencing [...]

Distractions abound. You place your focus on one spot and soon you have wandered. It is the human way. Remain steadfast on your mission, answering your calling, knowing that you may be diverted. If you are unsure of your calling but your heart continues to nudge you, then continue to [...]

The baby in the womb forms a bond that is unbreakable. You share a connection with the mother based on the entanglement of energies shared during the formation of your very being. How could it be otherwise? Challenges you may face or have faced with your mother are the result [...]

Half-baked. You know this expression. You use it in reference to one who does not have all of their faculties or for an idea that has not reached its prime. We are referencing the latter when we say that your life is like that most of the time, for you [...]

Gratitude, even when you feel you have nothing for which you are grateful, will bring you back to center. It seems paradoxical, does it not? Gratitude, even when … but it is then, when you think there is nothing to be grateful for, that even the smallest gift warms the [...]

At times you wish to shield yourself from vibrations which you find uncomfortable. These often accompany emotions. "Why would I want to feel discord?" you ask, and we ask you, Are you not alive? Aliveness encompasses the full spectrum of feelings, of vibrations. In shunning the lower vibrations, you are [...]

If you spend your time worrying what others think of you or if you are giving them what they want, you will be wasting your time. Why is this? In the first place, you cannot know exactly what another thinks or wants. In the second place, each person is here [...]

“One way or the other,” you say with determination upon setting a goal. And yes, that is how you move forward—not by staying on a fixed path, but by seeing that you always have choices and that there is more than one way to accomplish the task(s) at hand. One [...]

Why do you criticize yourself? It is the human way to compare. “This apple is shinier than that, and therefore more desirable. This house is bigger and more ornate, and therefore more desirable. That person is more beautiful than that other, and therefore more desirable.” Are you beginning to see [...]

Be impeccable with your choice of words, for they will determine your ensuing emotions, thoughts, and actions all jumbled together until you may not recognize the source of your challenges. Caught up in such a jumble, you may then lose awareness of the Source of who you are. What words [...]

Courage … it is not a human trait, but a natural quality of the soul. Why is this? Because fear is a human trait. Fear arises from the human’s many “what-ifs” and the unending, “But I might’s.” Fear arises from the belief that one is separate from all others and [...]

When another has angered you, you have given them power. When another has disappointed you, you have given away your power. In both cases it is the same: giving power to another or giving away your own occurs each time you allow another’s actions to determine your emotions. Thoughts generally [...]

When you become so fixed in a position that you find yourself saying, “I absolutely cannot _____” (and you fill in the blank), then you have dammed the flow. The flow of what? Of creativity, of spontaneity, of new ideas, of freedom … of Life! There is always another way [...]

You can give someone a tool, but you cannot make them use it after you have left them with it. So many of you wish to help others. You have found ways of bringing peace into your lives and you share them with others in hopes of them finding the [...]

“Ever since I can remember …” Have you not heard yourself say this? And this shows a pattern. Patterns are to be avoided if you wish to grow. Why? For all of life is about change, and if you or someone else has been doing or thinking something ever since [...]

“Flattery will get you anywhere,” you say, and that is not exactly so. Flattery can take you most often directly to the head where ego wants you. Puffed up by flattery, you will remain in the illusion of your separation from others. There is nothing wrong with flattery. It is [...]

Your mind can be your greatest challenge. You think you have to think everything through, and therein lies the challenge: you think. The moment you begin analyzing, you have stepped away from the feeling part of you that communicates most clearly with the greater part of you: the heart. The [...]

Chores, chores, chores, how you abhor them. Necessities of life bring drudgery to some and joy to others. Why is this? Have you not heard the saying, “What does a man do after he has become enlightened?” Chop wood and carry water.” In other words, as awakened as you may [...]

“I am here for you.” Such beautiful words. Can you imagine how your world would change if all would act from a place where this is the predominant thought? Instead of “What is in it for me?” the soul is more concerned with giving and serving. Why, with this attitude, [...]

Love is the only answer. “How naïve!” some say, and that depends completely on the level from which you are viewing the world. From a human viewpoint, where you are mixing with souls who do not realize they are souls, love will not stop a bullet. Yes, we are being [...]

When you are the victim of deliberate cruelty or deceit, you wish to lash out. This is understandable. The human is programmed to fight fire with fire.   If you are able to take a moment and breathe, you will see that anger solves nothing. Reacting in kind does no good [...]

Beware of “us vs. them” thinking. When conceived in judgment, it results in anger, fear, and other lesser qualities of the human personality. Be aware there is another aspect of you: that of the soul. All humans are souls. Note that we did not say, “All humans have a soul.” [...]

This is it … the moment you have been waiting for! The future never comes, for there is no past, no future, and in reality no present. Try to pin down the present moment. You cannot do it. Time is like an ever-moving conveyor belt. Try to capture a moment [...]

You call them spirits—your loved ones who have passed—but they are just like you, albeit living at a different level of reality. Their world is as real to them, as solid as yours. They live, they love, they play. Do not grow jealous thinking that they now love others and [...]

Do not make the mistake of thinking that because a person passes to the other side they immediately have all knowledge. Growth and increasing understanding are an ongoing process there just as here. Even your guides do not have “all of the answers,” depending upon what level of growth they [...]

Harboring fears and doubts … why do you use such a word as “harbor” in this case? A harbor is a place where vessels dock or anchor, where they seek shelter from storms, where they stay temporarily before venturing out to sea again. Vessels are meant to venture out, not [...]

A long journey begins with a single step. Do not worry about the distance you have to travel. Be aware only of being. You are. You, at another level, are neither here nor there, and you exist not in time, but in the timeless state of being. How does this [...]
