The Daily Way

Why do humans lie?  Most often it is a protective measure.  We are not going to tell you an action is right or wrong, for there are only learning opportunities, but as with most actions, motive is all-important.  Why you waver from the truth is all-important for the soul’s growth.  [...]

“Have it your way” … a slogan with which you are well familiar.  There is great pride in this for the human, for the ego so enjoys having things go exactly as it wills.  Having it your way gives ego a great sense of power and independence.  That is fine [...]

When you realize you have made a mistake, how do you react?  The answer is most telling.  The more upset you are, the greater the gift if you can see it as such.  Mistakes in themselves are not the gift, but they can easily lead to learning.  Do you tense [...]

The face tells a story.  Have you been tense most of the time?  Have you been sad or angry, or have you smiled and been relaxed?  Patterns in emotions become patterns in the face.  You as a human being are a pattern of you as a transcendent spirit being.  And [...]

What would happen if you were to remove the word "I" from your thoughts and vocabulary?  Where would "you" go?  Immediately the ego reacts, fearful that it would disappear or be ignored.  Know this: where there is fear, the real "you" is not the primary focus.  The real you is [...]

You see death as such a tragedy, when that is because of its effect on those left behind.  Yes, they are gone from your sight, and yes, you no longer have the body to touch, but it is far from a tragedy for those who have passed on.  That is [...]

When those around you are hurting, you hurt.  This is empathy.  You feel their pain for you all are connected.  What happens to one truly does happen to all.  This is oneness.  You band together when there is a loss for the heart knows no other way.  Like a moth [...]

Look your fears in the face and laugh at them.  In this way you take away their power.  In truth, they have no power, only that which you have given them.  Upon realizing this, you can take them away in an instant and laugh, not really at your fears, but [...]

You are part of a self-informing system.  What you learn adds to the whole and adjustments are made.  What works is used and what does not is discarded, and thus evolution of the soul progresses.  What do we mean by “works”?  What adds more love, more wholeness to the system.  [...]

There is no end to the ideas you can birth, no end to the creativity that flows through you.  If you think that all of your ideas come from within your brain, then of course you will feel limited.  When you come to know that you are connected to and [...]

Overdoing it.  You have a habit of this at times, do you not?  And what happens when you become a bit too active, a bit too emotional, a bit too anything?  Why, you experience the opposite of whatever you experienced as the pendulum swings back the other way.  The soul [...]

All the world’s a stage, yet some of you have stage fright.  Do not be afraid to show the world who you really are.  If the thought frightens you, then you are thinking as a human.  There is no shame, no embarrassment, no fear of ridicule when you step into [...]

Every so often you are given tests.  They are not pass-fail.  They are “what did you learn?” Do you not realize that everything follows the edict, “as above, so below?”  Your life is not pass-fail.  It is all about coming into a body where you can live in an environment [...]

Awareness is one of the greatest tools you can apply.  Pure awareness is what you are, yet your human cloak hides this at times.  Where do you place your focus?  Most humans place it outside of themselves with only the dimmest awareness of why they are thinking or acting as [...]

You cannot always blame the parents.  There are many factors involved in why a person is the way they are, not the least of which you would understand as karma.  If you want to blame the parents, go back to the time before the birth of even the parents when [...]

It is all about love, and the sooner you realize this, the easier will be your lives.  Such an obvious statement, is it not, yet there are those who think that life must be a struggle and that words such as success and power are what life is about.  This [...]

You cannot regulate love.  You cannot make others care more for each other.  Your laws attempt to bring order in an effort to bring your citizens the happiness which is your birthright, but even these laws can get out of hand.  They can actually become restrictive, when love knows no [...]

Irritants.  They are self-defined.  What to you is an irritant, to another goes unnoticed.  And therein lays the key to peace:  “unnoticed.”  Where you place your focus … what you notice becomes all-important to you.  Once you notice and focus upon a thing, you give it thoughts, and these, in [...]

There are certain things you are not supposed to know.  Could it be that you are being protected?  You understand the saying, “For your own good,” and yet you keep digging, digging, digging.  Could there be a reason that what you are trying so hard to uncover remains hidden or [...]

If you had a crystal ball, would you look into it?  You all wish to know your future.  Of course there are things that depend upon the choices others make, but your own choices determine what matters most to you.  And what is that?  Your happiness and peace of mind.  [...]

Do you find yourself putting your foot down?  Do you find yourself in need of firmly stating your case?  If so, then you have stepped out of the flow and planted yourself on the shoreline.  There is nothing wrong with taking a position, but it takes effort to remain there [...]

The body with its aches and pains distracts you from knowing the greater aspect of you.  The mind with its constant chatter distracts you from knowing the greater aspect of you.  Who is the real you?  Not even the soul which is formless.  That is a bit closer, indeed, to [...]

There will always be those in your world of form who do not remember that there is another world.  This is part of the plan.  They provide the greatest learning opportunities.  How do you react when faced with anger, when faced with judgment, when faced with a gun in your [...]

Is surrender a sign of weakness?  It depends upon the context and the perspective, as do so many things in your human life.  If you believe you are only human, and another is threatening your life, surrendering the fight, you believe, would result in the end of your life.  If [...]
