Spirit shows up exactly as you need it.  Are you paying attention?  It is all Spirit.  You are This, this Pure Awareness, this Love embodied and disembodied.  How else do you describe the signs, the perfection?  The imperfection comes as part of the process.  You arrive knowing, and then you [...]

You call it venting ... letting off steam when you share your frustrations with another.  This is a good thing ... within the story.  Without venting a thing under pressure, it might eventually explode.  But what if there is another way?  In a world in which you are limitless, there [...]

Life can change in an instant. This is what you say, anyway. Actually, it is the circumstances of your human story that change constantly. Life, itself, simply is. Your story plays out on the ever-unchanging canvas of Life. When the constant twists and turns, ups and downs of the story [...]

Do you love yourself enough?  Do you?  Do you speak to yourself lovingly and regard yourself with compassion?  Take a step back and see yourself from afar.  Listen to the way that one is addressing themself.  Do you want to step in and say, “Please be more kind”?  Is that [...]

Love the one you’re with.  Even if you do not know them at a surface level, at a soul level you are meeting.  Think about that.  What if your two souls are having a conversation?  It would go something like this:  “Let’s see if they can see past our facades.  [...]

You wish for spiritual perception?  Close your eyes.  Shut out the outer world, which gives you the illusion that you are separate from all others.  It is a movie, passing before your physical eyes in rapid sequence of individual moments.  Shut them out and go within.  There you will find [...]

Yield. Give way. It is the ego that wants to defend. It is the ego that wants to explain and justify. Why engage another ego that wants the same thing? Two egos justifying themselves will not hear, will not find a middle ground. But one soul acknowledging ego and saying, [...]

Look around with a baby’s eyes.  What do you see?  Wondrous sights.  There are no words for what you behold.  Nothing has meaning.  All is neutral, and beautiful, especially that face that gazes at you.  Is it you?  You think it is, and at the level from which you just [...]

You see a bee flying nearby, and you tense.  Yes, you have been taught to fear such creatures because they could potentially bring you harm, but they are simply doing what they do.  They are “doing their thing” in their own environment.  Programming.  Once burned, twice shy.  Be aware of [...]

You are bombarded with information in every moment.  Where to place your focus?  Inward.  The Guidance within will direct your attention to what is needed.  This does not mean spending every waking moment in meditation with eyes closed.  It is more of a subtle checking-in to see what Guidance says.  [...]

Could that person’s sour demeanor be pain?  Could their quietness mask desperation?  Humans are quick to judge without knowing what truly lies beneath the mask.  A smile can just as easily mask pain.  Do you know of any human who has not suffered?  What secrets do you keep from others, [...]

Allow for imperfection.  Allow mistakes.  Allow the signs you asked for not to show up.  Allow that there may be a reason, a greater plan.  Allow yourself not to know everything, not to have all the answers, not to be in control.  Set your intentions.  Set them grandly, then relax [...]

Gifts step in front of you repeatedly throughout the day in the form of other people.  Who are you speaking with?  Do you really hear them?  What would they have to tell you if you paused and asked of Spirit, “What is the question I need to ask to elicit [...]

There is most definitely a difference in the energy you feel in different places.  If you doubt this, step into a prison and then step into a church.  These are two ends of a spectrum, but the differences in vibration can be felt everywhere you go.  Certain geographic locations carry [...]

You do not always know why something goes “wrong.”  The word is in quotation marks because it is an interpretation.  Who’s to say that from another perspective what you consider something going wrong was right?  It’s all a matter of perspective, and while you play your roles, there will be [...]

Guided.  That is how you are moment by moment, if you will only pause and listen for a voice other than what you consider the “normal” thoughts in your head.  You are used to following patterns of thought that are filled with shoulds and musts and have-tos.  What if you [...]

A saxophone and a flute produce different sounds, yet the sounds come from breath blown through the instrument.  A trumpet and a clarinet produce different sounds, yet one breath could produce them.  Look around you.  You are surrounded by people of different shapes and sizes and colors, yet one Breath [...]

There is always something.  At times you might say this statement in a pessimistic tone.  “There is always something that goes wrong, isn’t there?”  And if you look for such things, you will most certainly find them.  And yet, you can take the opposite tack and fill in the blank [...]

In school you have your various grades or levels.  In each one you know there are levels of learning yet to be had, yet still you have your days when you think you know it all.  And so it is with life.  You think you have figured out this spiritual [...]

If something in front of you is happening, then that is what is happening.  It is that simple.  It is the propensity to deny the present moment that causes the struggle.  “But this should not be happening!”  But it is happening.  Do you see the struggle?  Accept what is, and [...]

Think outside the box.  You are like nested dolls, with box upon box upon box.  Once you identify one limitation and move beyond it, look again.  You are multi-dimensional, multi-faceted ... limited in one sense, yet limitless in another.  Shift points of view often and examine your selves from multiple [...]

Watch what you feed your soul.  Do you take great care in feeding the body healthy foods? Do you stay away from things that may be harmful?  Yes?  And then what do you ingest through your entertainment?  So much is written of good eating habits, yet how many times a [...]

So many rules.  How many of them are truly necessary?  Yes, you have your societal rules, and those result from so many with different ideas and different understandings of what is right and what is wrong living together.  Rules are a necessity in societies.  Examine the rules you have placed [...]

Who writes the words on your page? Is it you or some wise sage? Who paints the picture from your palette? Who chisels the masterpiece with the mallet? There is only one writer, only one artist, Many trees, but only one forest. This is the  point that many don’t see [...]

The things you find to criticize in others ... have you noticed how often you do those very same things?  Yes.  And can you laugh at how ego tries to get you not to notice the oneness?  Pause a moment the next time you are about to shake your head [...]

The answer is love, the answer is love, the answer is love.  You will want to argue and come up with scenarios in which love will not solve issues.  In cases of abuse, in cases of aggressive and harmful actions by individuals or nations, of course you will take appropriate [...]

You can be guided moment by moment by moment.  Set the intention to connect in awareness with higher consciousness and to hear the voice of spirit, be this your higher self or the voice of the Highest Self, which at another level are one and the same.  Slow down enough [...]

What does it mean to surrender?  To know that you cannot control a situation and to allow yourself to be guided.  There is surrender to an enemy in a battle, and this carries a negative connotation.  And then there is surrender to a higher power, and this carries a level [...]

Polarity.  Opposites of one spectrum.  You can balk all you want at the opposites, yet the two are intimately connected.  Stuckness.  It keeps you from appreciating the learning opportunities in reconciling into oneness.  Spend a bit of time in the opposite experience, and if you cannot even imagine going there, [...]

Incoherent.  Is this not the word you use when you cannot understand someone for they are making no sense?  There are various things that can cause one to become incoherent:  mental confusion, ingested substances, fear, lack of focus ... Coherence is necessary to communicate not only in this earthly realm, [...]
