Frustration. You know it well if you are used to being fully human. But you are not only human. The soul loves flowing. The soul observes what unfolds. The human says, “It must go this way or that. You must do this or that.” Do you finish sentences for others, [...]
A moment in time. That is what a photograph captures. In most cases, your portraits capture smiling faces. Happy moments. Treasured memories are what these become, most especially when the one in the photos no longer walks the earth in physical form. It stirs the heart to look at photos. The [...]
Do you feel the need to justify your actions? There is a most excellent litmus test: If you are acting from your heart and your motive is in alignment with loving kindness, helpfulness, and service, then there is no need to justify. Defensiveness comes as the soul’s way of saying, [...]
Fields within fields within fields. You cannot get away from connections. All that is is intricately interconnected. See energetically; do not simply look around and see pieces of a puzzle floating about. Look beneath the surface of your own skin to see how cells make up organs, which make up [...]
Gifts are all around you. Yes, when you seek higher answers, go within. But when you seek growth for the soul, look to others. They may push your buttons. They may make you want to pull your hair out, and therein lie the gifts. Why do they “do this to [...]
Your needs may not always coincide with another’s. What is important to you is not always what is important to others. This can cause frustration. It may produce thoughts within you that the other does not care. Perhaps in different circumstances they care very much, but you have had many [...]
Listen. Stop “doing” long enough to be silent and hear what the Universe has to say. In the silence may be whispers or booming voices, but ego’s voice is often the loudest. When others are talking to you, are you already formulating your response? That is ego. Ego does not want [...]
There is no end to Life, and therefore, there is no limit to the amount you can learn and the amount you can love. Never stop growing. Never think you will never love again. Never think you cannot stand another day of challenges, for the challenges are nudging you to know [...]
Defense mechanisms. They exist as part of ego’s ploy to protect you from feeling. If you do not think about something that hurts, then perhaps you won’t hurt anymore. Alternatively, you will center all of your thoughts on a painful subject and remain there as a sort of punishment. Do [...]
Analogies. Metaphors. This is how you understand your physical world and the world of no form. It is all your world as Consciousness unfolding and folding back into itself. Cycles. Arising and subsiding. Life, death ... part of a process. You, as an expression of Consciousness go round and round. [...]

You hear bad news from one you care about, and instantly your heart goes out to them. Compassion and your innate connection as souls is what causes you to feel their pain. The human side will reach out and comfort. This is why you are here ... to embrace this [...]
“How could God do this to me?” We can feel your pain, but such a question shows a misunderstanding of the nature of God. It is one of the deepest misunderstandings that comes from being told that God loves you, as if God is apart from you. When you think [...]

Drawn outward by the senses, you fail to notice what is happening within the body. Perhaps you grow a bit lightheaded. Perhaps there is a tingling, or the skin erupts in goosebumps. What has caused these physical sensations? Could it be there is more than meets the eye in and [...]
There is nothing wrong with sharing your joy at your accomplishments. Why do you do things? That is the question. For the attention from others? Yes, that feels good, but it is short-lived. Others have their own lives. Share your good news for the mutual enjoyment of celebration. You are [...]
