You must make a decision ... take a leap. It is one thing to have blind faith. It is another to know what you have faith in. Have you asked for guidance within before stepping out? Do you know to what you are speaking when you do so? Higher aspects [...]
Memories. Picture post cards in the mind of favorite past-times, special trips, meals eaten on the couch ... These bring a smile to your face and warmth to your heart. And then, a pang of sadness when the one with whom you shared these memories will no longer enjoy them [...]
It is so easy to slip into sadness when one grieves. Once the chemicals associated with sadness begin to flow, they take on a cascading effect. If you become aware of this, you can acknowledge this sadness. You can honor it by saying, “That’s love.” And in this moment of [...]
Are you holding them back, your loved ones who have passed, when you think of them so much and ask them to let you know they are around? In a way, but they understand. If you are desperately grieving, they will want to comfort you. It is a choice they [...]
Do not be in such a hurry to “get there.” Yes, “Enjoy the journey.” It is most excellent advice. You are in a human suit for a reason. The experiences, the learning that results, and most of all, the connections, are why you decided to incarnate. If you had all [...]
You come here as a soul and take on a role. For a while you forget this, and you do as you came here to do: you act very human. Humans do things that at times come from the heart and at other times come from the head, or they [...]
What is channeling, but the merging of minds. Understand: minds are not actually separate, simply unique expressions of the One United Mind. Think ocean and waves. And so, when two waves merge and flow together, each takes on the characteristics of the other. You channel source every time you speak. [...]
You can’t have them back … but you can have them forward. You grieve because you feel you’ve lost them. This word is only partly true. The physical interaction and conversations in person may be gone, but these conversations can continue. Do not cease talking and sharing because you can [...]
You have a sudden insight. It leads to another and another. You can feel the ideas bubbling up, ready to burst. “Give me a piece of paper ... something to write or draw with!” Do not worry. The Source of these inspirations is not going away. You are Creation itself [...]
Death. It carries such a sense of finality. The brain finds it hard to process that one you know and loved is no longer in a physical body. Do not make the mistake, however, of believing that they are no longer around you. Should you make it your task to [...]
You have a cast of characters around you in the heavens. For each it is different according to your beliefs, your culture, your understanding. For some an angel appears, complete with wings and harp. For others, the master Jesus. For others, a loved one in spirit who continues to guide [...]
Bellows. You use them to fan a flame. You can do the same with your breath to turn up the light of awareness within. Why would you want to do so? This is the essence of your being, yet so often it goes ignored in light of more attractive options. [...]
“Going up!” Picture awareness like the rider in an elevator. It goes up and down simply through intention. The soul is the elevator with the full potential always present, yet choosing the experiences of each floor. First floor: Bodies and Earthly Experiences. Second Floor: Bodiless, Yet Still Playing and Creating [...]
What if things don’t turn out as you wish? Can you trust that there is a bigger picture? Larger voices may be calling. Spirit may be using you. Yes, get upset, if you will. That is very human. It is also a choice. When one is upset, it is challenging [...]
“That’s unacceptable!” you declare, and you are setting yourself up to suffer. The situation is what it is. It is happening. Can you change it? Then by all means, do so. If it is outside your control, then by declaring it UN-acceptable, you are arguing against, denying, what IS. This [...]
Do you know that you feel safer if you point fingers and point out faults? By taking the attention off of yourself and anything within yourself that is not aligned with the Highest, you do not have to pay attention to these lesser traits. By complaining about what others do [...]
When you take a stand, you are sure to find those who oppose you. Opposites and opposition are built into your world. Find a belief, and you will find its opposite. Ask for someone’s opinion, and you may or may not agree. If you want others to love you for [...]
It is easy to love others when you accept them as they are. So many do not realize this. By nature, one often looks to the differences and notices what are perceived as faults, when, in fact, they are simply being as they are at this moment. Yes, it is [...]
“There is safety in numbers,” you say. And then you may begin to wonder, just how many does it take for you to be safe? What is the perfect number? One, dear one. There is safety in knowing that you can shift awareness to being aware of the interconnectedness of [...]
“We are the world.” You may recall these lyrics, and with good reason. There is great truth in this statement. All of you make up one wholeness, yet there is wholeness within wholeness, like nested dolls. Kingdoms, species, bodies, cells ... where does it begin and where does it end? [...]
When a thing isn’t working, stop pushing. There is a reason. What if you sit with no expectations for a while and allow things to unfold from a higher place? New insights may arise allowing you to continue as you were or perhaps in a new direction. Or perhaps an [...]
You say that love never dies. What does this mean? It means that whether or not there is a person in your presence, whether or not one you love is in a physical body, the love shared is here. How can this be? For love—divine love—is not a thing. It [...]
Do you walk about fearful, holding onto what you have earned, be it possessions, status, relationships, or more? What if you knew you are already complete and whole? Who told you you are not? Society? Culture? Family? You? Over and over you hear and think “not enough,” and when you [...]
