Inhibitions. What are they? The little bits of your consciousness which control your choices. All possibilities lie within consciousness. This is why the most loving people you know have the capability of performing acts or saying words which are unloving. You live in a world of duality where you get [...]
What is a breakthrough but a sudden leap in understanding. Your soul’s evolution has these at times. You either earn them or they are gifts of grace. Whatever the case, they result in growth and great joy. Intend your breakthroughs. Know that growth is why you are here. If you [...]
A parent wishes to hold onto its child. “But I need you!” the parent thinks. “How can you leave me?” And then the child leaves. Did it abandon the parent? Not at all. Each has a role to play. If the child does not go out into the world on [...]
You are not growing unless you are shaken up a bit. Why? Because it is far too easy for you to fall into torpor—a somnambulant state in which you glide through life on automatic, reacting robotically to your programmed beliefs. If something did not come along and stir your emotions, [...]
Genuine growth comes from stretching. A balloon expands to a certain size when you blow it up, and then you stop. There is fear of stretching too far. Yes, there comes a point where it will burst, but are you satisfied with having your balloon the same as all others? [...]
You dredge up memories and it is as if you have lost your loved one all over again … Do you see what the mind does? Not only does it create visual images, but it recreates the same emotions. These are caused by chemicals secreted in the body in response [...]
You think that you must try ever harder to “get somewhere,” be that spiritual enlightenment, material success, or whatever your goal. This is the great paradox. It is only when you cease striving that you get exactly what the soul is seeking underneath all of the striving: peace. In the [...]

You have your traffic rules. One of them requires you to give way to another where two or more may interact. If one does not yield, suffering of some sort may occur. Is not life like this? How often do you fail to yield, convinced that you should go first [...]
Note from Suzanne: To those of you who joined me this evening for a very special channeling session of connecting to that most loving Consciousness in answer to prayer, I am filled to overflowing with love. It flows out, I feel it flowing back in, I feel it all around me. [...]
“Oh, but I don’t want him or her there!” you cry, and this is understandable if that one’s energy is so very dissonant to yours. If you are unable to see from your soul’s perspective, you will spend your time together focusing on how your two vibrations grate against each [...]
You do not have to do it all alone. In fact, it is when you think that you act alone that your choices do not come from the highest place. How often do you stop and acknowledge that you are connected to higher consciousness? How often do you pause in [...]
Friends in Vancouver ... just confirmed a presentation on Sunday, July 20th at Unity of Vancouver. Can't wait to see all of you again! (Details to follow on my events page)
When you are dealing with one whose actions are difficult for you, step back and breathe. Get some distance until you gain perspective. Another who displays a great need to control is actually quite insecure emotionally. Any resistance or pushing back on your part will cause their insecurities to peak [...]
One of my clients is dealing with the loss of her 16-year-old son who tragically took his own life as the result of a rash and irreversible decision. She shared with me today what his friends have done to make something good come of something so devastating. She wrote, “The [...]
Never assume that you know it all. Even if you did have all knowledge and wisdom, your world is ever expanding. Consciousness is unlimited. You are one cog in a self-informing system. As you learn, you grow, and the growth continues eternally. With so many conscious beings—all individual aspects of [...]

A follower on Facebook asked me for a definition of Love. Here is one Sanaya provided that I share at the beginning of my "Let Your Spirit SOAR Workshop": What is Love? Your Eskimos have many words for snow. You have one word for love, with many meanings. It is [...]
Fish frying in a pan. Flowers in bloom. What do they have in common? Both catch your attention by the vibration they emit. You call it a smell. We call it an energetic signature. How do you wish to catch people’s attention when they go by? Do you wish them [...]
Saved by an angel this morning ... Ty and I are out of town, so we went for a run in new territory. Within the first five minutes I clearly sensed that we would encounter a loose dog. My initial thought was to stop running, but then I chose differently. [...]
Prepare to be surprised. All manner of blessings come to those who surrender and allow themselves to be God-guided. When you find the trust to let go of the thought that things must go exactly as you had planned, then they often go far better than you had imagined. Yes, [...]
Can you look back upon your life and see how those who raised you implanted certain beliefs in you about yourself? Do this exercise with caution. Dip into the past only briefly for the learning and realizations, and then step back quickly into the now with your eyes opened a [...]
When you let adrenaline and emotion take over, you cease being guided and you cease listening. It is then that you can easily be thrown over the handlebars. Yes, all of life is a lesson when you pay attention. This is what we are asking you to do now and [...]
Wow! The "Messages of Hope" documentary based on my story and book by the same name has been selected for the Toronto Beaches Film Festival to be held this June 27th. I must admit it still feels strange to think of people I don't know seeing me and my family on [...]
