Life is not something you “get through.” Do you have a tendency, when given a task, to focus on the end goal, perhaps to rush through the steps to get to the end without as much attention given to the means? Perhaps you are doing that with this life you have chosen. You, the soul, are in no hurry. You, the human, may have missed the meaning of life: to be savored the bitter as well as the best. It is not true that you only get one chance, but even if you get a million, you are living for the experience of it. Yes, for the Joy. How much can you eek out of this experience that aligns with your soul’s nature? “Stop and smell the roses” is most excellent advice, no matter how small the task, for the task of be-ing never ends.
Be that which you are, Love.
