You appear in a photo with others. What is the first thing most humans do? You zero in on aspects you think are not good enough. You find something to criticize. Do you know this is learned behavior and part of the human programming to focus on what sets you apart and feels like a threat? Others are not examining you with the same intensity. Others see the bigger picture of you while focusing upon themselves. Others feel your energy rather than criticizing. What do you wish people to feel? Can you see yourself the way others do? Catch the self-criticism and give it compassion. Fall in love with yourself moment by moment. This is how the angels see you: with love, compassion, and total adoration.
You are so very loved.
it wouldn’t last me like the post, but this is so true!
I do this ALL THE TIME! I wish I could overcome it; I’ve never been photogenic, it’s like the camera hates me! Hence, I hate my face. I know it’s wrong, but I can’t help it. I think this is due to my having a different picture of myself in my mind; so much so, that when I look at myself in the mirror I’m always surprised of the image staring back at me.🤷♀️
