When you think you have nothing in common with another, look deeper. Yes, your stories may differ . . . the experiences, the locations, the characters may differ, but beneath the differences (yes, you see the root in this word), your roots are the same: the Light of Spirit. And how does that help you to interact and enjoy yourself, you may ask? Enjoy the commonality of human experience: laughter, tears, fears, and what you have learned through the years. Shine on, beautiful soul.
You are so very loved.
Your daile reminder of who we ALL are is such a blessing. Thank you!
This is so true! I’ve come to realize this fact after I’ve had many negative experiences with people that are so different from me. I used to blame them, judge them, and stay away from them! Today, I recognize how much I learned from these experiences, thanks to them! I don’t blame them or judge them any more. I thank them for all that I learned through interacting with them! Now, I look at them with compassion and gratefulness!
Marso, what you wrote is beautiful and inspiring. Thank you for sharing!
this is true. at times it’s hard to remember; particularly when faced with evil actions others choose to enact causing so much suffering in the world.
