Archetypes are quite helpful on the spiritual journey. You do not have to know everything about a certain character or figure to benefit from the energy their field embodies. The image of a knight carries strength, even if you know nothing about their ways. The image of a fair maiden carries quite a different energy that is felt. Enter into stillness and close your eyes. Ask Spirit to send you an archetype that is perfect for what you need at this time. Be open without expectations and simply observe what arises in awareness. You may be surprised or the archetype that arrives may seem quite obvious. Nevertheless, ask Spirit why this, why now, and be open to further insights that will prove helpful.
