Be patient with yourself. You are a work in progress. Have you ever seen an artist at work? A little paint goes here, and then the artist sits back to study what has been created. Not quite right? Change it a bit. Keep tweaking. How do you know what perfection is? There is an innate knowing of what is good and beautiful. The creative process is ongoing-not because there is anything wrong with you. Quite the contrary. You are everything good and beautiful. It is simply a process of revealing this brushstroke by brushstroke and enjoying the process.
